Holly Glynn enters her fifth season as the head coach of the MIT women’s lacrosse program following a brief stint as an assistant coach at Mount Ida College.
Prior to her time at Mount Ida, Glynn was the head of lacrosse at Sedbergh School in Sedbergh, United Kingdom for the 2011 season. During her tenure, she coached the school’s three teams and handled all of the administrative responsibilities for the program. Glynn has also served as a coach at the NoCar Lacrosse Camp in Davidson, N.C. and the Uptown Lacrosse Camp in New York City.
A 2009 graduate of Columbia University, Glynn earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. She closed her career as the Lions’ all-time leader in career points, career goals, points in a season, goals in a season, goals in a game, and assists in a game. Glynn was a two-time IWLCA All-Region selection and was the first player in program history to earn a spot on the first team. In addition, she was tabbed to the All-Ivy team in 2008 and 2009.
