Jeff Katz enters his second year as an assistant coach for the MIT women's soccer team. Katz joined the MIT coaching staff in the summer of 2014.

Katz spent the past 12 seasons coaching Brookline High School’s boys varsity soccer team. He guided the Warriors to eight of the last nine MIAA Division 1 state tournaments, including an appearance in the Division 1 North Sectional Finals. Katz was named the Bay State Conference Coach of the Year in 2007, Eastern Massachusetts Coach of the Year in 2008, and the Brookline High School Coach of the Year in 2011.

Katz has also coached U15-U18 girls soccer at New England’s Premier Soccer Club, and in 2012 he was an assistant coach for the U17 State Cup champions. Over the past two seasons, his U18 team has compiled an overall mark of 24-5-1.

Katz holds his USSF D license and NSCAA National and Advanced National diplomas.
