      <title>Leah Alpert Named to Capital One Academic All-America Team</title>

      <description>CAMBRIDGE, Mass. &#x2013; It was announced earlier this week by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) that MIT senior Leah Alpert (Needham, Mass.) was named to the third team of the Capital One Academic All-America softball team. She is only the sixth player in MIT softball history and the first since 1994 to be named to one of the three teams.</description>

With their selection to the first team, the two Engineers will now be placed on the national ballot and will be eligible for selection to the Capital One Academic All-America team, to be announced later this month.</description>
