Leah Bogsted Named NEWMAC Rookie of the Year

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - On Tuesday, Leah Bogsted became the first MIT softball player to earn NEWMAC All-Conference honors in the six-year existence of the league. Not only was she named Rookie of the Year, Bogsted also collected First-Team All-Conference plaudits. The hurler tallied an Institute-record 171 strikeouts, which also led the NEWMAC, in 22 appearances and posted an ERA of 2.13.
