Luke Cummings begins his third season as an assistant swim coach at MIT.
Cummings graduated from MIT in 2010 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Cummings swam for four years at MIT and was awarded the Howard W. Johnson award and served as team captain during his senior year. Over the course of his collegiate career, Cummings earned NEWMAC All-Conference, All-America, and Academic All-America honors. Cummings owns Institute individual records in the 50 Free and 100 free, and he is also a member of the record-setting 200/400/800 Free Relays and the 200/400 Medley Relays. He currently works for American Ag Energy in Boston.
