Position: Assistant Coach (Indiana '03)

Kristy Martin begins her third season as a member of MIT's Swimming & Diving coaching staff. Martin graduated from Indiana University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. During her four years at Indiana, she was a top-three finisher in the Big Ten Championships in the 200 Butterfly and 400 IM and was an NCAA qualifier in the 200 Butterfly, 200 IM and 400 IM. Martin also earned Academic All-American honors.

Kristy Martin qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 200 Butterfly, finished in the top-16 multiple times at the US Open and was a six-time high school state champion in Massachusetts.

On the coaching front, Martin served as the Head Coach for the Martinsville High School Swim Team in Indiana for the 2003-2004 season. She also worked with the Bloomington Swim Club and at the Indiana University Swim Camp.
