HOLLAND, Mich. - Freshman Doria Holbrook became just the second athlete and the first diver in the history of the MIT swimming and diving program to win a national title after taking first overall in three-meter diving at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.
Holbrook totaled a score of 453.40 in the three-meter diving competition, easily outpacing second-place Kate Shaw of
Holbrook earned two All-America honors over the weekend, finishing third overall in one-meter diving. Serving as MIT's lone national representative, she totaled 36 points en route to 25th out of 53 in the team standings.
