Cambridge, Mass. – The MIT women's tennis team started off their 2010 campaign with a 7-2 victory over Smith College at the DuPont tennis courts.

The pair then split up and captured matching straight set victories. Quisenberry defeat Inskeep 6-1, 6-2 at first singles and Hsu beat Nicole Anderson at second singles by the same score.
Only two of the singles contests went to a third set, with Eunice Zhao capturing the only singles point for Smith by outlasting Jenny Dohlman 6-2, 2-6, 10-8.
