Daniel Griffin will be in his sixth year as an assistant coachwith the Engineers, including serving as the interim head coachduring the spring of 2010. His primary responsibilities includematch preparation and on-court coaching during practices andmatches.
A local product, Griffin played high school tennis at the ThayerAcademy in Braintree, Mass. before a brief training stint at theSaddlebrook Tennis Academy in Tampa, Fla. He continued his careerat Connecticut College and upon graduation Griffin playedcompetitively with his successes generating regional and nationalrankings.
Griffin is a certified member of the United States ProfessionalTennis Association and works at the Harvard University BusinessSchool. He is currently pursuing dual master's degrees from SuffolkUniversity in political science and public administration.
