      <description>FALMOUTH, Maine &#x2013; Playing in the second round of the NCAA Division III Women&#x2019;s Tennis Tournament, No. 22 MIT took on No. 6 Middlebury this afternoon at the Falmouth Tennis Club. The Engineers played well, but the Panthers were able to escape with a key win in doubles as they advanced to the regional final with a 5-0 win.</description>

      <description>BRUNSWICK, Maine &#x2013; Making its first appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 13 years, the No. 22 MIT women&#x2019;s tennis team came up victorious in the first round of the tournament this afternoon. The Engineers won their first-ever first round match, defeating Simmons College 5-0 on at Bowdoin College. MIT will move on to play No. 6 Middlebury College tomorrow afternoon.</description>

MIT will open play on Friday, May 10 when it takes on Simmons College in Brunswick, Maine.</description>
