Vassar Defeats MIT, 6-3

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The MIT women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Vassar College on Saturday. Joanna MacKay and Elaine Ni posted a thrilling 9-7 come-from-behind victory at No. 1 doubles over the No. 4 regionally-ranked tandem of Sharnak and Graham. In the next spot, Serena Lin and Mariah Hoover hung on in their 8-6 win. Jaclyn Cichon and Jusleen Karve fell in the final doubles match by a score of 8-3. Cichon went on to pick up the Engineers' (9-4) only victory in singles action, a 7-5, 1-6, 6-4 decision in the No. 3 position.
