CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - With a 1-1 performance, junior Leslie Hansen copped All-America honors at the NCAA Women's Tennis Individual Championship Tournament hosted by Oglethorpe University this past weekend. The accolade is her second as she posted an identical mark at last year's event.

Hansen opened the tournament by defeating Rachel Wallwork (Swarthmore College), 6-3, 6-3. Her run came to an end in the Round of 16 where she fell to eventual semifinalist Sarah D'Elia (Bowdoin College), 6-1, 6-3.

Hansen became the second person in the program’s history to earn multiple All-America accolades. Mealani Nakamura earned a pair of plaudits in 1998-99 following a 1-1 outing in the singles tournament and a semifinal doubles finish with partner Kelly Koskelin. The next year, Nakamura added another All-America award with a 1-1 performance in the singles bracket.
