Diskin and Vishnevetsky Named NEWMAC Doubles Team of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT women’s tennis team collected its first NEWMAC honor of the season as the No. 2 doubles duo of Melissa Diskin and Anastasia Vishnevetsky were selected the Doubles Team of the Week.
This past Saturday, Diskin and Vishnevetsky collaborated for an 8-0 victory over Springfield College’s Rachel Kushma and Talya Pessolano. The Engineers went on to post a 9-0 decision over the visiting Pride and improved to 2-0 on the year and 1-0 in conference play.
