Leslie Hansen Named NEWMAC Singles Player of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Leslie Hansen of the MIT women's tennis team was chosen as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Singles Player of the Week on Monday. Last week, the rookie started with an impressive 6-1, 6-1 win at the top spot against Babson College in a dual match victory. She then competed at the ITA New England Regional Championship, where she defeated her first round opponent, 6-3, 6-0, before falling to the eventual runner-up, 2-6, 6-3, 10-8.
