CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT men's and women's indoor track and field will open its 2013 campaign on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the annual Alumni meet before officially beginning the season the following weekend at the Harvard Challenge (Jan. 19). The Engineers will then race every weekend until the NCAA Division III Championships arrive from March 8-9, traveling to Boston University four times during that time. They will travel to Somerville, Mass. for the Tufts Invitational on Feb. 2 and will return to Boston University for the Valentine's Invitational from Feb. 8-9.
The women's team will compete in the New England Division III Championship from Feb. 15-16 at the University of Southern Maine. The squads will be reunited the following weekend to take part in the NEICAAA Championship at Boston University (Feb. 22-23) before traveling to the New York City Armory for the ECAC Championship (March 1-2).
