CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following a 2-0 week
for MIT, Jenny Li was named the New England Women’s and
Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women’s Volleyball
Athlete of the Week. The junior outside and middle hitter averaged
3.29 kills, 1.57 digs, 0.43 blocks, and a .463 hitting
percentage.
Li posted six kills on 11-errorless hitting attempts for a .545
percentage and one block in a sweep of Wheaton College. She then
recorded the first double-double of her career on career-high
totals of 17 kills and 11 digs to go along with two blocks in a 3-1
win over Rivier College.
The Engineers, currently at 18-4 on the year and 5-0 in conference
play, look to extend their seven-match winning streak against
NEWMAC foe WPI on Tuesday night.
