Off the Court at MIT: Majoring in mechanical engineering.

Why I Chose MIT: When I first visited MIT I loved how nearly every student was active and involved in some out of school project because they enjoyed what they learned. Engineers worked in the state-of-the art laboratories as if they were adult playgrounds. The volleyball girls trained together and then hung out with each other after practices. Studying students played with miracle berries that turned sour fruits sweet and made ice cream with liquid nitrogen. I chose MIT because it is a place where students work hard, pursue their passions, and know how to have fun.

Club: San Francisco Volleyball Club...Junior Olympics qualifier (2007, 2008).
