Why I Chose MIT: I choose MIT because of the people and the community. Before I visited all I had was stereotypes and I was practically sure that I wouldn't belong here. When I arrived and was handed a book of 600 different things to do with the disclaimer, "Do whatever you want," I changed my mind. The range of people from all different backgrounds and the true passion to learn provided me the perfect place to explore my own passions.
