The trio, which accounts for half of the all-district honorees, will represent MIT on the national ballot and will contend for Academic All-America honors to be voted on later this month.</description>

      <description>CAMBRIDGE, Mass. &#x2013; MIT along with Stanford University were the only institutions to have both its men&#x2019;s and women&#x2019;s volleyball teams qualify for the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award. For the Engineers, this was the third year in a row they were the only Division III institution to accomplish this feat. In addition MIT was the sole representative from the NEWMAC to make the list on the women&#x2019;s side.</description>
