Women's Volleyball Sweeps Mount Holyoke, 3-0

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - MIT defeated Mount Holyoke College, 30-11, 30-18, 30-25, in NEWMAC action on Tuesday night. The Engineers (12-4, 4-0 NEWMAC) swept their opponents for the 10th time this season.
Frances Rogoz posted a team-high 13 kills and added three aces. Rose Zhong finished with seven kills, two aces and one assisted block. Alex Huston-Carico, Joy Hart, and Arlis Reynolds each tallied four kills. Caroline Jordan and Carrie Buchanan both registered seven digs, with Jordan contributing six aces and two assisted blocks. Stephanie Reed notched a trio of aces and assisted blocks while Amanda Morris had two assisted blocks. Austin Zimmerman and Caitlin Murphy split setting responsibilities, with Zimmerman totaling 10 assists and Murphy finishing with 22.
This weekend MIT will compete in the Tufts University Tournament.
