CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - The MIT women's volleyball team overpowered Clark University in its 30-13, 30-19, 30-23 win on Wednesday. The Engineers now stand at 16-5 overall and 5-0 in NEWMAC play.
Nine digs by Caroline Jordan helped her become the latest member of this year's squad to join the MIT 1000 Dig Club. She also finished with a team-high 12 kills and added two aces and two assisted blocks. Joy Hart had a team-best 13 digs while Frances Rogoz contributed 11 kills. Lisa Rossi totaled 11 digs in one game while Carrie Buchanan tallied 10. Stephanie Reed notched three aces in one game while Austin Zimmerman posted 33 assists and 11 digs.
The next match for MIT will be on Tuesday, Oct. 12, when it travels to Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
