Engineers Advance to NEWMAC Tournament Semifinal

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - MIT held on in the third game of its NEWMAC Tournament Quarterfinal match to sweep Clark University, 30-17, 30-20, 30-28, on Tuesday night. The No. 2 Engineers (24-9) will face No. 3 Springfield College in a semifinal match held at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy this Friday, Nov. 5.

Caroline Jordan and Frances Rogoz paced Tech's attack with 13 kills apiece. Jordan posted her fifth consecutive double-double by tallying 10 digs. Carrie Buchanan and Arlis Reynolds both totaled four aces while Buchanan added a team-high 20 digs. Setter Amanda Morris finished the night with 40 assists, two aces, and eight digs.
