CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Following a pair of conference victories, MIT's Amanda Morris was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Player of the Week. In a 2-0 week, she averaged 11.83 assists, 2.67 digs, 1.00 blocks, and 0.83 aces in six games.
Morris tallied 37 assists, nine digs, one solo block, three assisted blocks, and one ace in a 3-0 win over Smith last Tuesday. In Saturday's sweep of Clark, she totaled 34 assists, seven digs, four aces, two kills, one solo block and one assisted block. Morris currently leads the NEWMAC with an average of 11.03 assists per game.
