CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Frances Rogoz led MIT volleyball to a 4-0 week and a 2-0 start in NEWMAC play en route to honors as NEWMAC Player of the Week. She kicked off the stretch by recording the match-winning kill against Wellesley College; finishing the night with 10 kills in the Engineers' 30-28, 30-17, 30-16 victory. In the third game, Rogoz used an eight-point serving run with three of her match-high six aces to open up a 10-2 lead. On Thursday, Rogoz recorded five kills in one game against Lesley University (30-13, 30-11, 30-12) and added seven kills and three assisted blocks against Emerson College (30-16, 30-17, 30-15). She wrapped up the week by tallying seven kills and two aces against Babson College (30-19, 30-25, 30-19). In 10 games, Rogoz posted a hitting percentage of .444 (29-5-54), nine aces, seven digs, and four assisted blocks.
