Sarah Quinn Named NEWMAC Cross Country Runner of the WeekCAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Freshman Sarah Quinn (Watchung, N.Y.) was named the NEWMAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week after a fourth place finish in the 6k course at the Purple Valley Classic this weekend. She completed the race in 22:30, the fastest of any MIT runner on that course to date.

Taylor Takes Title at Keene StateKEENE, N.H. – Junior Alexandra Taylor (Harbor Springs, Mich.) started the cross country season on a high note for the MIT women’s team as she won individual honors at the Keene State Alumni Invitational. She was not the only Engineer to have a strong race, as MIT also took the team title by taking six of the top 10 spots to easily take the team title over host Keene State.
MIT Cross Country 2012 Schedule AnnouncedCAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT’s cross country program announced its 2012 schedule, a seven-meet lineup, all of which take place on the road. The season officially begins when the teams travel to the Keene State Invitational on September 1. Two weeks later, they compete at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational, where both the squads finished atop the standings last year.
