GRAFTON, Mass. - The 6k Tufts farm course proved to be a difficult road for the women's cross country team on Saturday afternoon, as MIT finished seventh in the nine team field. Freshman Elizabeth Finn turned in another impressive performance for the Engineers, finishing in 19th place. Amherst College raced to victory with a first place finish from junior Shauneen Garrahan.

Despite MIT's seventh place finish, Elizabeth Finn continued to shine in her first collegiate year. Finn was the top runner in MIT's squad for the second time this year. She placed fifth at the Brown Invitational on September 10 in just her second collegiate contest.

The Engineers resume their season on October 8th when they compete in the NEICAAA Championship at Franklin Park.
