BOSTON, Mass. - The women's cross country team placed 28th of 44 teams at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston this past Saturday. Boston University won the 5k race, while Quinnipiac senior Katie Gwyther finished in first place with a time of 16:54.
MIT freshman Elizabeth Finn was the first to cross the finish line for the Engineers. She ran the route in 19:33, good enough for 89th place. All other MIT harriers failed to place in the top 100.
The Engineers next compete in Albany, New York at the Albany State Invitational on Saturday, October 15.
