CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following a tremendous sophomore campaign that saw him raise his scoring average by over four points per game, Will Tashman was selected to the All-Northeast Region team by D3Hoops.com. Tashman was tabbed to the Fourth Team All-Region after helping the Cardinal and Gray capture its second New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) title in three years and make its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

The sophomore also finished sixth in scoring at 14.1 points per game. He ranks fourth in free throw percentage and is one of the best passing big men in the conference, averaging 2.69 assists per game. A tireless defender, Tashman helped solidify a defense that led the NEWMAC in rebounding margin was second in scoring defense.
The Engineers defeated WPI to win their second conference crown in the past three years and advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the third consecutive season. The Cardinal and Gray downed host Ithaca College, 82-78, in the NCAA First Round before falling to the University of Rochester, 60-52, in Round Two. Tech returns its top seven scorers next year, including Tashman and fellow All-Conference pick, Mitchell Kates.
