Men's Fencing Goes 3-2 at Eric Sollee Invitational

WALTHAM, Mass. - The MIT men's fencing team produced 3-2 ledger at the Eric Sollee Invitational hosted by Brandeis University on Saturday. The Engineers (10-11) defeated Stevens Institute of Technology (16-11), Hunter College (22-5), and Haverford College (14-13) but lost to New Jersey Institute of Technology (17-10) and NYU (21-6). Senior Giulio Gueltrini (Ravenna, Italy) compiled an 11-4 record for the epee unit while sophomore Tzer Wong (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) registered a 10-3 mark for the sabre squad. For the second week in a row junior Matthew Cavuto (Skillman, N.J.) had the best outing for the foil team as he went 5-7.
