- The Lead: The MIT men's fencing team wrapped up the regular season by competing at the Beanpot on Wednesday night. The Engineers fell to Boston College (19-8), host Brandeis University (18-9), and Harvard University (22-5). Sophomore Nyle Sykes (Greenwood Village, Colo.) led the way for the epee unit with a 6-3 ledger while first-year Robert Law (Los Altos, Calif.) paced the foil team with a 3-4 mark. Sophomore Aidan Simpson (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.) had the best showing for the sabre squad as he went 3-6 on the day.
