Kenn Jones is entering his sixth season at MIT in 2016 and will serve as the program's running backs coach and video coordinator.
Prior to MIT, he worked coaching youth athletics, and held a seat on the board of a Cambridge based youth sports and leadership non-profit organization. As a youth coach he helped lead the Cambridge Falcons football program to back-to-back division titles from 2010-2011. The 2010 team also went on to win their first regional and state championships in program history.
Jones is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston. In 2009 he earned his B.S. in Philosophy, World Religions, and Ethics, and a minor in Psychology. He was temporarily a walk-on and scout team defensive back for the university football program in 2007. He also played for a Boston-area semi-professional team in 2008, and played three years of high school football in Newton, Mass. He is a native of Dorchester, Mass.
