(November 8) – For the first time in his collegiate career, senior midfielder Wesley Woo (Palo Alto, Calif.)has been named to the Men's Soccer Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, as selected by Sports Information Directors from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

(November 1) –The MIT men's soccer team reestablished the program record from a year ago for most New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference selections as the Engineers had 17 student-athletes recognized this season as the league announced its selections yesterday.

    The MIT men’s soccer team saw its 2018 season come to a close this afternoon in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament Quarterfinals as the fifth-seeded Engineers fell to fourth-seeded Wheaton College in penalty kicks, 3-1, after the game saw neither team could find the back of the net through 110 minutes of regulation time.

The Engineers will need a loss from Clark University tomorrow in order to earn a spot in the NEWMAC postseason tournament for the second straight season and for 20th time in program history.

(August 2) – The MIT men’s soccer program has announced its slate of games for the 2018 season, which will feature a 16-match schedule that includes seven New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contests and eight home games at Roberts Field at Steinbrenner Stadium. The Engineers will be under the guidance of head coach Ken Bovell, who enters his fourth season on the sidelines with the Engineers.
