MIT to Host NCAA Division III Diving Regional March 1 & 2

Cambridge, Mass. (February 14) – For the second time in three seasons, MIT swimming and diving will host the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Northeast-North Diving Regional Championships, March 1-2, 2019 inside the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool.

Divers from across the region will compete for a spot at the 2019 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, March 20-23, 2019 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. A complete list of participants and the total number of qualifying spots available for the NCAA Championships will be announced after Tuesday, February 26, 2019.

Competition will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1 and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2. A full detailed schedule of events will also be released after the number of qualifiers has been announced after Tuesday, February 26, 2019.

The host Engineers currently have eight divers eligible to compete at the NCAA Regional including Maxwell Halkenhauser (Denville, N.J.)Jay Lang (South Lyon, Mich.)Jeremy Sands (Skokie, Ill.)Samuel Solomon (Rockville, Md.)Morgan Matranga (Moraga, Calif.)Dolly Payne (Los Alamitos, Calif.)Deborah Wen (Honolulu, Hawaii) and Blake Zhou (Palo Alto, Calif.)
