MIT Swimming and Diving Announces Class of 2023August 27, 2019Cambridge, Mass. (August 27) – A total of 23 incoming first-years will be added to the MIT men's and women's swimming and diving teams this fall, as announced by Mary Frances Wagley '47 Head Coach Meg Sisson French and assistant coach James Sica earlier this week. The incoming class is highlighted by Edenna Chen and James Richardson as they both have qualified for the 2020 United States Olympic Trials in the 100-breast and 100-fly, respectfully.

French comes to MIT from Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in Claremont, Calif.
Ubellacker Qualifies for United States Olympic Swimming TrialsJuly 15, 2019Cambridge, Mass. (July 15) - Rising senior Sam Ubellacker (Georgetown, Ky.) became the second student-athlete in the history of the MIT swimming and diving program to swim an Olympic Trials cut as he posted a time of 23.13 swimming unattached at the 2019 Los Angeles Invitational at the University of Southern California over the weekend.
