CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Following a 4-0 performance in the No. 1 singles position to start the season, senior Thomas Dohlman was selected as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men's tennis Singles Player of the Week. He recorded a 6-2, 6-4 decision against Brandeis and then dropped only one game in his 6-0, 6-1 victory over Gordon. Dohlman notched a 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 win against Amherst and posted the Engineers' lone singles victory versus Colby with scores of 6-2, 7-6 (4).
MIT, currently ranked No. 22 in the nation, stands at 4-2 on the year and will host Tufts University in a non-conference match on Friday, March 16.
