MARIETTA, Ohio - Stephen Morton and Greg Tao earned All-America honors with a pair of fourth-place finishes to help lead MIT to an impressive showing at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Tech's 10 points were good for 29th place out of 81 teams competing.

Morton found himself on the awards stand for the third time in his MIT career, finishing fourth in the triple jump, his first All-America nod in the event. Morton set a new MIT record with his jump of 49-7.75 feet. The junior just missed another All-America selection in the long jump, as he jumped 22-6.50 feet for ninth-place.

Tao hit a new personal record in the pole vault, clearing 15-11.25 feet, good for fourth. Tao improved upon his eighth-place effort in this event at the NCAA Indoor Championship.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh captured the team title with 46 total points.
