CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Although the MIT men's volleyball team has been on a two-week hiatus from competition, it managed to move up one spot to 13th in the most recent American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Top 15 Coaches Poll. The rankings saw a considerable amount of shuffling as seven other teams found a new slot in the standings while one squad moved onto the poll as another dropped out.
The Engineers (19-11), who have now spent 35 consecutive weeks on the national poll, return to action this weekend when they host the MIT Scramble Tournament on April 5-6. They will square off with Regis College and Bard College on Friday before battling Southern Vermont College and nationally-ranked No. 14 Elmira College on Saturday.
