CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In its return to North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division play, nationally-ranked No. 11 MIT cruised past host Lesley University, 30-17, 30-15, 30-24, on Tuesday night. With the win, the Engineers improved to 4-4 on the year and 3-1 in conference play.
Kenneth Rosche registered a team-high nine kills as Randolph Li notched eight kills on 11 attempts with one error for a .636 hitting percentage. Malcolm Bean was just as efficient, finishing with four kills on five attempts (.800) in just one game. Steve Ray added seven kills while Scott Pollom connected on all six of his hitting attempts and posted a pair of blocks. In two games of action, Philip Rogoz tallied seven consecutive aces and 23 assists as Tim Lee notched 13 assists and five digs. Michael Demyttenaere contributed five aces and two blocks while Ryan Dean and Eugene Jang chipped in seven and six digs, respectively.
