CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In a weekend tri-match hosted by Emmanuel College, No. 11 MIT defeated Wentworth Institute of Technology, 30-17, 30-14, 30-16, but lost to the host Saints, 30-26, 30-23, 18-30, 26-30, 16-14. Following Saturday's action, the Engineers' ledger moved to 24-5 on the year.

Scott Pollom had a strong outing as he finished with seven aces, five kills on seven errorless attempts for a .714 hitting percentage, and four blocks. Praveen Pamidimukkala contributed nine kills and five digs in two games while Michael Demyttenaere added seven kills and six blocks. Ryan Dean paced MIT with seven digs as Kenneth Rosche registered six kills. Caine Jette tallied 27 assists, five digs, and four blocks in the win.

Against Emmanuel, Demyttenaere posted seven blocks and two aces as Pollom totaled 13 kills. Pamidimukkala notched 28 kills and a .356 hitting percentage to go along with nine digs. Eugene Jang bolstered the Engineers' defense with 12 digs as Dean amassed 29 assists, 16 digs, and three blocks.
