Men's Volleyball Wraps Up Season at NECVA Tournament

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Making its first appearance at the North Eastern Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) Tournament, the MIT men's volleyball team fell to Eastern Mennonite University, 30-28, 31-29, 33-31, on Friday. The Engineers finish the season with an overall record of 23-7.

Rob McAndrew paced Tech's attack with 20 kills and added 13 digs. Praveen Pamidimukkala totaled 16 kills, three aces, and a pair of assisted blocks. Ryan Dean tallied a team-high 18 digs and two solo blocks while Jordan Wan dished out 40 assists. Bob Aspell led the blocking corps with one solo and two assisted blocks.

During the weekend, NECVA announced its New England All-Division Team. Pamidimukkala was selected as the Rookie of the Year and also earned a spot on the All-Division Team. McAndrew was named the NECVA New England Co-Player of the Year.
