Openweight Women's Crew Lands 21 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
June 21, 2019As announced recently by the Patriot League, the MIT women’s openweight crew team had 21 student-athletes named to the league’s Academic Honor Roll. Overall, 261 student-athletes were recognized over the nine women’s crew teams with MIT ranking fifth in total honorees. -
McCandler, Gilad Earn Patriot League Postseason Rowing Accolades
May 23, 2019MIT openweight crew seniors Caitlin McCandler (St. Louis Park, Minn.) and Tal Gilad (Horsham, Pa.) have both been recognized by the Patriot League in their postseason awards announcements. McCandler earned a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team, while Gilad was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team for her performance at the league championship. -

Resch ’61 that will support a significant renovation of MIT’s Harold W. Pierce Boathouse. In recognition, the 52-year-old facility along the Charles River will be renamed the Richard J. Resch Boathouse. -
