Sakharova Ranks 18th After Day 1 of NCAA Fencing Championship

- The Lead: Following the conclusion of the first three rounds of epee competition on Thursday, MIT junior Helen Sakharova (Ridgewood, N.J.) ranked 18th out of 24 epee participants at the NCAA Fencing Championship. The lone Division III qualifier for the second year in a row, she compiled a record of 6-9 in her second national appearance.
