Women’s Fencing Competes at NCAA Northeast Regional Championship

- The Lead: The MIT women's fencing team closed out its season by competing in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship at Vassar College on Sunday. Senior Helen Sakharova (Ridgewood, N.J.) led the way for the Engineers by placing 19th in the epee standings while first-year Anita Dey Barsukova (Richardson, Texas) was 21st in the sabre rankings. Junior Stephanie Li (Greenwood Village, Colo.) paced the foil contingent with a career-best 23rd place performance.
