    The MIT women’s soccer dominated in every phase of the match today as the Engineers topped Mount Holyoke College, 10-2, in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday afternoon. Today’s ten goals marked the most goals scored by MIT since 2002 and with eight goals in the first stanza broke the program record for most goal in the first half of a match, which was a record that was originally set on September 10, 2002.
  • Women’s Soccer Finishes With Second Best Team GPA in Division III and Earns United Soccer Coaches Academic Award

(October 4) – The MIT women’s soccer team posted the second best cumulative grade point average among all NCAA Division III women’s soccer programs last year as the Engineers earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the third straight year, when the organization announced its selections this morning.

    MIT freshman Karenna Groff (Weston, Mass.) scored three consecutive goals in a span of 51-seconds, the second fastest student-athlete to accomplish that in NCAA Division III women's soccer history, to lead the Engineers to their first win of 2018. At the end of 90 minutes, the score read 7-0 in favor of MIT over Worcester State in a non-conference match on Tuesday night.

  • Women’s Soccer Releases 2018 Schedule

    Cambridge, Mass. (July 26) – The nationally-ranked MIT women’s soccer program has announced its slate of games for the 2018 season, which will feature a 19-match schedule that includes ten New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contests and nine home games at Roberts Field at Steinbrenner Stadium. The Engineers will be under the guidance of head coach Martin Desmarais, who was named as the New England Division III Coach of the Year  in 2017 and enters his 12th season on the sidelines with the Engineers.
