Emily Schlosser is entering her third season at MIT as an assistant coach, with a focus on goalkeeper training. In her first season in 2010, she helped guide MIT starter Meghan Wright to a NEWMAC First Team All Conference selection, as well as several regional selections. The team also set four goalkeeping records in 2010.
Prior to MIT, Schlosser spent three years as the goaltending coach for her alma mater Bridgewater State University. A native of Petersham, Mass., she was a standout goaltender for the Bears from 2003 to 2006. Schlosser earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Bridgewater State in 2008.
During her four-year career with the Bears, Schlosser posted a record of 23-21-8 with 292 saves and a 1.34 goals against average in 53 career games. She is third all-time at Bridgewater State in wins, goals against average, minutes played (4,627:50) and shutouts (13.5). Schlosser was a two-time Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference All-Conference selection, achieving the honor in 2004 and again in 2005.
Schlosser presently resides in Bridgewater, Mass., and is the retail manager at WeGotSoccer in Foxboro. She is also a goaltending coach and head coach for the Blackhawks SC.
