Tinna Gallagher has played soccer since she was 7 years old and played in Iceland for FC KR for thirteen years. She played soccer for four years at the college level for Auburn University Montgomery, and last fall was an assistant coach there while finishing her master´s degree. The team went to the National Tournament and had a very successful season.

Gallagher was voted the captain of her team by her peers while she was a player. She was selected twice to the All Conference Team- Southern States Athletics Conference,  NSCCA/Adidas All Region Team, All Academic Conference Team, and the Director’s and Dean’s Student Athlete Honor's Roll. She was chosen the Champions of Character Team by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and received the Army Athletic Achievement Award from Auburn-Montgomery. 

Gallagher graduated with a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Auburn University Montgomery in 2009. She moved to Boston and currently works in the athletic department at MIT.
