AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007-08: At NEWMACs, placed 11th in the mile with collegiate-best time of 18:35.17, securing a best time in the 1000 (11:07.98) in the process. Also secured collegiate-bests en route to a 14th-place finish in the 100 Back (1:05.74) and a 15th-place finish in the 500 Free (5:25.00). Now owns top-10 Institute Times in the 500 (10th), 1000 (6th), and 1650 Free (4th). Placed 6th in the mile at the MIT Invitational, against swimmers from six different schools.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006-07: At her first NEWMACs championships, placed 11th in the 500 Free with a time of 5:25.31, dropping over two seconds from her preliminary time and moving up from her 14th place preliminary seed. Finished 13th in the 200 Free with a collegiate best time of 2:03.38, earning her the lead-off spot on the Engineers' "B" 800 Free Relay, which placed 11th, ahead of all other "B" teams. Also placed 11th in the mile (19:02.22). Swam to a dual-meet win in the 500 against Brandeis.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the only swimmer for Arcadia High School her freshman and sophomore years, during which time she continued to train with her club team...placed 3rd in the 500 freestyle as a sophomore and earned a trip to the Ohio High School State Meet...Swam for Findlay High School as a junior and a senior, where she was a captain for both years...a four-time Second Team All-Conference and two-time MVP...helped lead her team to the district championships as a senior.

CLUB: Began swimming competitively at age 7...swam for four years with the Findlay and Fostoria, Ohio, YMCAs...swam for Bowling Green Swimming Club, starting in 1998...starting swimming with the senior gold group under Coaches Gary and Carolyn Layne in 7th grade after making her first state cut...led her team to its 13th straight summer league championship in 2006.

PERSONAL: Born February 3, 1988 to Kathleen and Ogden Price...has one brother, Chris, a high school senior...lists her proudest collegiate moment as holding to time she was supposed to on the surprise 30x100s during practice last IAP...a Course 2-OE (Ocean Engineering) Major.
