- My favorite sports memory is playing in the Sweet 16 at Johnson & Wales my freshman year. Although we didn't win, it was one of the most intense, passionate games I have ever played in and the memory of that team will stick with me forever.

Favorite Moment as an MIT Student-Athlete
- Participating in team bonding outside of practice, whether it's shopping or painting on Killian.

Off the Court at MIT:
- Majoring in mechanical engineering with a concentration in comparative media studies
- Interned at Northrop Grumman where she qualified new programs for space applications using fiber optics
- Researched tuberculosis single cell sequencing to identify gene signatures of specific cell subpopulations in the blood as a summer intern at the African Health Research Institute
- Chair of Undergraduate Association Student Support and Wellness Committee
- Alpha Phi sorority

Why I Chose MIT:
- To me, MIT offers the perfect blend of amazing academics and competitive Division III athletics. Collaborating with extremely intelligent women to play the best volleyball we can is the ideal environment for me, and MIT offers just that. However, MIT is more than just a school with a stellar reputation. Coming from a small high school, a strong sense of community was very important to me when looking at colleges. There is a large emphasis on teamwork here rather than competition—everyone is so supportive and just wants to see you succeed, coaches and students alike. MIT offers a tight-knit community in an urban environment, where you have so many opportunities to explore Boston and the world through internships and clubs while making friends on campus that will last a lifetime.
