Women's Volleyball Remains Undfeated in the NEWMAC

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - Double-doubles by Caroline Jordan and Arlis Reynolds helped MIT to a 30-26, 28-3, 30-19, 30-26, victory over Springfield College in NEWMAC women's volleyball action on Tuesday night. The Engineers improve to 19-6 overall and 7-0 in conference play.

Jordan notched her third consecutive double-double, finishing with 14 kills and a team-high 23 digs, five aces, and two solo blocks. Frances Rogoz paced Tech's offense with 16 kills while Joy Hart, Carrie Buchanan and Arlis Reynolds each totaled the same number of digs. Reynolds and Ellen Sojka both registered 12 kills while Buchanan tallied four aces. Rogoz and Briana Stephenson had four assisted blocks apiece while Austin Zimmerman dished out 52 assists and collected 10 digs.

This weekend MIT will be competing in the Hall of Fame Tournament held at Smith College.
